KOSPI and KOSDAQ was hit directly from the 'CHINA SHOCK'. KOSPI declined for 4 straight days and fell all the way down to the 1930 points. KOSDAQ also collapsed over 4% with signs of panic in the market.

On the 19th, KOSPI index closed at 1939.38 with a decrease of 16.88 points (0.86%) from the day before.

The index initially began with 1954.56, 1.70 points (0.09%) lower than before, and at one point fell down to the 1915 points.

The analysis for the decline is associated to the unrest of China's stock market.

The drop of China's stock market affected and scared further investements as it was viewed as a massive economic downfall. The stock market experts commented, "With the shock of Chinese yuan's depreciation still lingering, the emergence of September's US interest rate increase rumors caused the expansion of market variability."

The industry showed effects of wide-spread decline.

코스피와 코스닥이 '차이나 쇼크'의 직격탄을 맞았다.

코스피는 사흘째 하락하며 1930선으로 주저앉았다. 코스닥도 4% 넘게 급락하며 패닉 장세를 보였다.

19일 코스피지수는 전날보다 16.88포인트(0.86%) 내린 1939.38로 마감했다.

지수는 1.70포인트(0.09%) 내린 1954.56으로 시작해 장중 한때는 1915선까지 추락하기도 했다.

이날 지수 하락은 중국 증시 동요에 따른 충격 때문으로 분석된다. 중국 증시 급락이 경기 악화로 인식되며 투자심리를 짓누른 것이다.

증시 전문가들은 "중국 위안화의 평가절하 충격이 가시지 않은 가운데 미국의 9월 금리 인상설이 재부각되면서 시장 변동성이 확대되는 모습"이라고 진단했다.

업종별로는 하락세가 우세했다.
